College Viability - In the News

Perspective Data Science and College Viability, LLC Partner to Enhance Financial Health Transparency

 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
St. Louis, MO – Two innovative sole proprietorships, Perspective Data Science (PDS) (Tulsa, OK) and College Viability (St. Louis, MO), have announced a partnership aimed at improving financial transparency and strategic decision-making in both public and private colleges. Leveraging the power of artificial intelligence and data analytics, their collaboration seeks to provide comprehensive insights into the financial health and operational sustainability of higher education institutions.

Utilizing AI-driven tools, PDS and College Viability compile essential data from audited financial statements, IRS Form 990s, and the National Center for Education Statistics (IPEDS database). By doing so, they aim to offer college leaders, board members, faculty, and other stakeholders clear, data-backed assessments and peer comparisons of their institutions' strategic vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement.

A key initiative supporting this mission is their weekly College Financial Health Show with Matthew D. Hendricks and Gary Stocker, (every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. central time via Zoom) which has attracted thousands of viewers since its launch in August 2024. The show provides in-depth analysis, discussions, and expert insights into the financial health of individual colleges, providing stakeholders with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.

While PDS and College Viability will continue to maintain their respective business models, their joint efforts will focus on promoting financial transparency and strategic insight through innovative solutions, including the 2025 College Viability App, 2025 College Majors Completion App, College Strategic Compass, and College Financial Health Advanced Compass.
